An Integral Sliding Mode Stator Current Control for Industrial Induction Motor

An integral sliding mode control (ISMC) for stator currents of the induction motor (IM) is developed in this work. The proposed controller d-q synchronous reference frame, by using indirect field-oriented (FOC) method. Robust asymptotic tracking current components presence model uncertainties and coupling disturbance terms has been guaranteed an enhanced ISMC surface. More precisely, stationary error eliminated, accuracy regulators enhanced. According to Lyapunov approach, it proven that happens asymptotically, consequently, stability each loop demonstrated. Simulation experimental results show capability new diminishing system chattering increasing robustness designed scheme, considering variation plant parameters terms. It illustrated compared with conventional PI regulators, controllers provide smoother actions excellent dynamics. In addition, because precise over rotor flux, flux weakening method employed run at a higher speed than rated value.
